Fuck the saudi government so im shilling a game they wont ever touch. Rivals of aether 2 is a smash inspired 2d platform fighter made by furries that has a transfem luchador ant as a playable character. All the dlc is free, no fomo on event skins, has rollback, console ports are on the way

Today I finally figured out how to take a plane and slap a png on it, and warp the plane so it makes flat images become more 3D Finally.

I still think the funniest idea for a character I had was to take some inspiration from Arcus Chroma and make a character that can't jump, but instead of building the entire game around not having a jump, just having a character in a game where they can't jump but everyone else can

The discord server seems dead set on me Releasing Blueblood Arena before I do anything else lmao (fair) I guess it makes sense to hold off on this for a few months! Will say though that I fixed a few issues the game had since it was literally like, ALPHA alpha, basically a proof of concept lmao

Basically: I think I'm going to add the updated buffer system, the menu buttons & proper hitbox view to the last updated build of Blueblood Breakdown and then just let the world have it, maybe this month!

Debating on releasing the Blueblood Breakdown Pre-alpha basically as-is since I'm going to rebuilding the game from the ground up regardless... and there'll probably be a lot of mechanical differences. Would be cool to have it somewhere for archival purposes Maybe releasing it on itch or something

I think this will be the third "new year" that passes where I'll be like "okay blueblood arena comes out this year for SURE!" BUT REAL for sure this year!!

I think once Blueblood Arena is out, two things will happen. 1. I'll work on long term support for BBA (pretty much in the form of more characters and balance adjustments) 2. I'll start work on this project that will HOPEFULLY be finished in a much shorter timeframe I still want to work on B3D too

After Blueblood Arena, I might fuck around and make a single player fighting game. (As a treat, I might port the character back into Blueblood Arena as a guest, though)
