Two keynotes!!! And one very full heart! This week I had the honor of delivering not one but two keynotes for the @loudouncounty.bsky.social Public Library’s 2025 Short Story Contest awards ceremonies. I’m so honored!

I believed this for years. Heard it at family dinners. From people I loved. Even from the voice in my own head. But guess what? Stories do change lives. Books do earn money. Creativity is survival. And writing? It’s not my hobby. It’s my legacy.
