The problem is, ripping Carl's heart out WAS the big scene I was eager to get to. And then it was the Victor and Frank reconciliation. So now that BOTH of those things are over, my brain is tapping out and it's harder to motivate myself to work on the last stretch of my comic. 😭

Learning in school is not enough. You must continue to teach yourself throughout your life. Study history, read myths, memorize poems, get acquainted with the greatest philosophers & writers. In an age when tech is cooking many brains, we need an army of autodidacts.

You think your art is amateur, your prose awkward, your dialogue stilted. Your lines scratchy, your colors weak. I don't. Because I don't know the difference. All your mistakes are purposeful style choices to me. All your weaknesses quirks of your personality. I love your art.

Considering doing bust commissions like this, would anyone be interested? Roughly around $50 (less or more depending on color, shading, complexity, etc., still need to figure out my worth). I just got a tooth pulled and it was...a LOT of money I don't have. Oof. Just gauging genuine interest.

you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. we love Shadow but we can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and we can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he has never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out on his actions (which are always correct)

I update every other Friday. I'm pretty sure it was every Wed and Fri in the beginning but because my sub count didn't grow from that I experimented with just Fridays. I don't think engagement is the best on Fridays but it feels better for my brain. 🤷🏽‍♀️ #webcomic

I'm being so real right now, learn how to engage in media as art and not a reflection of your own real life morals. consume things that make you uncomfortable and understand why it makes you uncomfortable. Don't just base yours and others morals standings on the media you consume.

i'm against the new TOS because no matter how uncomfortable you are with certain subjects, it's very easy to see how bad-faith interpretations of art could be weaponized, especially against marginalized artists, who are more likely to be targeted for harassment #bskycensorship
