The weather across the pass is going to be a little wicked today and into the weekend, with lots of rain forecasted. Please remember to slow down and turn on your headlights for safety.

There will be snow on SR 20 North Cascades Highway this weekend. Crews are prepared, are you? Tires, warm coat, full tank of gas, charged cell, headlights on and-most of all- driving for conditions. Slower is better than a spin out. On the road we're in it together.

UPDATE: I-90 remains closed WB at Exit 80 near Cle Elum after an oversized load struck the overpass. Travelers are being detoured at Exit 80 via the off- and on-ramp. Crews will be out today to assess the damage. The Washington State Patrol is investigating. No estimate for a reopening.

No more pilot car on US 97 Blewett Pass, but crews continue to deal with the Labor Mountain Fire, so plan for flaggers and reduced speeds, and be aware that trailheads and campgrounds in the area are closed due to the fire. Please plan ahead and be patient.

US 97 Blewett Pass remains closed between MP 149-178 due to the Labor Mountain Fire. The pass has been closed since Sept. 21. Fire remains active on both sides of the road and visibility is low. There is no estimated time to reopen. When Blewett is closed, that puts added traffic on I-90 and US 2.

UPDATE #9: Crews continue work on the White River Bridge. Installing each brace takes time because we have to reposition equipment & balance the load before moving forward. Braces add strength & gets us closer to starting permanent repairs & ultimately reopening later this fall.

UPDATE #6: We've OPENED the SR 169 Green River Bridge with a temp signal alt traffic on the centerline. On Monday, crews found advanced corrosion that will need to be repaired. As we work on a repair plan, the bridge is open to traffic but will return to a detour during repairs.

What's up, shedders? T R A F F I C. That's what. Watershed is this weekend at the Gorge Amphitheatre. The I-90 Vantage Bridge is still down to one lane in each direction. Plan for added travel time or 'schwoop' around the bridge.

If you're driving on southbound I-405 this morning, the toll rate signs are incorrectly displaying "FREE." We are looking into what's causing this issue. As always, if you choose to drive in the express toll lanes, you lock in the price you see and HOV rules still apply.

Quick action stopped a brush fire from spreading on US 97 near Satus Pass! 👏 After hearing about the fire, office staff alerted nearby crews. Working together w/a passerby, they contained the flames fast before things got worse. Not all heroes wear capes—some wear orange vests!

This isn't what we mean about regular flow of traffic🥤 Our crews are working to clean up after a semi truck collided with a guardrail and fell into a ditch, losing its load of Poppi soda. Tell a friend that we've still got the right lanes closed while crews work on this clean up and repair.

Heads up if you use SR 410 between Bonney Lake and Sumner! We expect all lanes to remain closed near Ehli Hill for a few more hours while police investigate. Once complete, we can begin repairing the barrier. Please continue to delay travels if possible.
