UPDATE #6: We've OPENED the SR 169 Green River Bridge with a temp signal alt traffic on the centerline. On Monday, crews found advanced corrosion that will need to be repaired. As we work on a repair plan, the bridge is open to traffic but will return to a detour during repairs.

HEADS UP! Northbound SR 169 at the Green River Bridge is CLOSED for maintenance between Enumclaw and Black Diamond. Expect intermittent closures on SB SR 169 as well. WSDOT bridge crews are on scene. Seek alt routes at this time, as it is expected to be a lengthy closure.

If you're driving on southbound I-405 this morning, the toll rate signs are incorrectly displaying "FREE." We are looking into what's causing this issue. As always, if you choose to drive in the express toll lanes, you lock in the price you see and HOV rules still apply.

Quick action stopped a brush fire from spreading on US 97 near Satus Pass! 👏 After hearing about the fire, office staff alerted nearby crews. Working together w/a passerby, they contained the flames fast before things got worse. Not all heroes wear capes—some wear orange vests!

This isn't what we mean about regular flow of traffic🥤 Our crews are working to clean up after a semi truck collided with a guardrail and fell into a ditch, losing its load of Poppi soda. Tell a friend that we've still got the right lanes closed while crews work on this clean up and repair.

Heads up if you use SR 410 between Bonney Lake and Sumner! We expect all lanes to remain closed near Ehli Hill for a few more hours while police investigate. Once complete, we can begin repairing the barrier. Please continue to delay travels if possible.

UPDATE: Tonight's paving work on southbound I-5 in Everett is CANCELED, because crews were able to wrap up all their work last night 🥳 All lanes of SB I-5 through Everett are open. Overnight work on this paving project will resume on Tuesday (7/22) starting at 7 p.m.

NORTHBOUND I-5 IS NOW CLOSED between I-90 and NE 45th St. We'll spend this weekend getting Ship Canal Bridge ready for the next phase of work starting Monday. When we reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, NB I-5 will be reduced two lanes across the bridge through Aug. 15.
