- jewellery! I don't wear a lot - mostly necklaces if I do. Do have my ears pierced and love some of the recent earrings shared on here, but just don't wear them often. Prefer silver to gold. Also have long hair - so hair ties or accessories are helpful!

Just adding my voice in support of all those on strike today. We can have a functioning health system, and pay our public service workers decent wages - our govt is choosing not too. I support us making different choices and backing our people and communities.

The world does owe future generations a living. Anyone who believes otherwise should never be put in a position of power ever again.

Tato and I got in our first 3.5km walk just before the rain came down this morning! Challenging ourselves to walk 100km this October and raise $250 for Rainbow communities! Help us reach our goal!

Use “I” statements please Winston. The tens of thousands of NZers who marched, the thousands and thousands more who see this genocide for what it is and who know recognising Palestine is an important symbol of solidarity, your decision does not represent us.

Spent most of the day installing a pergola and turning it into a catio - and now all the muscles I haven't used in months are complaining! Catio is super cute though and the kitties are happy 🐈⬛

This one's very important for EVERYONE - the RSB opens us up to an American hellscape with many unintended consequences. It's part of the Coalition agreement, and they passed the first stage through urgency. But this Select Committee process is arguably MORE important than the TPB. SUBMIT.

A possibly interesting fact about me - that might also help my Secret Santa - I have no sense of smell! Never have as far as I can tell :) So things like scented candles or perfumed things don't really do much for me! Can't smell yummy things - but also can't smell yuck things!

My favorite colour schemes are in the images below - pastel rainbows, and muted, dusty pinks and purples! Would love to decorate my house in the pastel rainbows like this!

Heads up to those submitting on the Treaty Bill. Submissions that call people racist won't be accepted. New guidance from the Justice Committee states that the committee will not accept: -racist material, particularly overt racism and characterizing people as racist

Gorgeous skies in Levin/Taitoko, and loved the 'reveal' in the camera. Could see some red and pink with naked eye, but then got the full blast of colour from phone pics.

Feeling the sadness as friends post about all the adventures and possibilities for their turning 21yr olds, when my almost 21yr old's world is so small - chronic illness meaning they only occasionally leave the house, and can't have a big, exciting future ahead. Happy for others and what we do have
