When utilized in literature review, LLMs consistently 1. fail to mention female authors in female-led literatures, 2. insist that men are more influential or more heavily cited when this is contradicted by objective citation counts, and 3. attribute women’s work to hallucinated male scholars.

Little peer review induced mini rant inocming! I love Donna Haraway's work. I also read a lot of her texts. This is not always fun because Haraway has a notoriously dense and dynamic way of writing. So I had to read her texts more than once. As one should in academia to fully grasp a text. (1/3)

1. 1100 words is only very long if you’re an amoeba. 2. Asking an LLM a question is not a skill. 3. One dead teen is actually too many unless you are a sociopath. 4. You’re welcome.

Employers should cover work-related travel and other expenses directly rather than require employees to float their employer an interest-free loan while subjecting them to a byzantine reimbursement process that will take at least a month and entail multiple rounds of paperwork.
