If this is all true, then The Sims as a franchise is most definitely dead. What do you mean The Sims 4 is done because the new buyers don’t want to spend that much money in the game? But then they go and send 600$ Coach merchandise to influencers? Like make it make sense? Where are your priorities?

Also, it is interesting to see that only the English speaking YouTube community has stepped away from The Sims. The bigger Sims channels from Spain and France for instance are still in the EA Creator Network and doesn’t seem to care about the buyout at all. Just some food for thought…

I wonder how the future of The Sims looks like now that bigger channels have stopped promoting or even acknowledging their content. I’ve only seen Deligracy post about the new EP, other than that bigger Sims channels are radio silent. How will this affect to the sales and what will EA do with it?

I’d love to know, once the last EP for The Sims 4 releases, what are your plans related to the game? Are you planning on playing more than ever now that mods will not break as much with updates? I’m extremely sad by how awful the death of The Sims 4 has been. We’ve been living it for a while now, even though we hadn’t seen it at first: no new GP, SP, gameplay kits, meaningful updates… In the last years this game has become a money maker for EA, with an infinite number of kits.

I am so disappointed to see lilsimsie posting a video about the kits that just released. She acknowledged in that video, after a big backlash from her community, that she just wanted to encourage people not to buy it, and that she was hoping people wouldn’t support EA.

It’s so weird to live the downfall of The Sims. We are in this weird stage now where a lot of people are playing the game (because it’s the only life simulation game somehow worth it atm) but awaiting for Paralives to release to move on. Happy Halloween everyone! After my first exam this course yesterday, I’ve decided to stay at home today instead of going to uni and will be playing and exploring Life and Death! I couldn’t do it last year as I didn’t buy the pack the day it was released, so I’m hoping to have a lot of fun with it!

I am watching a video about the most recent update for Inzoi and… man, it is personally such a soulless game. There are lots of animations that serve absolutely no purpose. They just added some Halloween poses as self interactions.

Are we getting the vibes? 👀 (I’m not in the mood for playing the game, and I don’t have time for it either right now, but I had a picture saved for a while and I very quickly wanted to recreate it!)

I have unfortunately decided that, if there ever is a The Sims 5, I won’t purchase that game at all. With all that’s happening with EA and looking back at how greedy and how little they care for us, I’m not going to spend money on them. Instead, I’m planning to move forward with Paralives.
