Klepto Clockers is the web comic I've been writing and drawing for quite some time. Finishing the pencil work for the first chapter and hope to finish inking, coloring, and lettering it by end of year. Here's the banner I've been working on.

i just did a workshop with kids about making comics. emphasized that ANYONE can make comics. you don't have to be a "good" artist. you find a story that matches your art style and you do it and it's awesome. and a kid who NEVER PARTICIPATES got out from under a desk and PARTICIPATED and had a blast.

Persepolis was one of the stand outs of my comics education. Marjane's work taught me the strength that minimal line work can provide in reinforcing a story. Last year I re-read Persepolis, looking for the wisdom of artists choosing to reflect the world's events in their work. Im so sad to hear this

Reflection on some of the art I loved this year, The Absolute Series: These books examine what is the self through inconic characters. I want more mainstream comics to lean into the damage that the current administration and billionaires are creating for the everyday person.
