I could say a lot. I’m not going to. Dr. King said it best we are inescapably intertwined. Voting to harm other people is never going to work in your favor. You may think you are winning but life is keeping score.

All of this conversation about DEI and ending DEI happens when mediocrity and insecurity come together. For some it is difficult to admit someone else is just better. So to feel good about themselves they have to blame DEI instead of realizing they are simply mediocre and insecure.

If there is an opportunity to take any situation and make it bad he will always take it.

Keep your messaging simple: “Trump fired everyone in charge of airplane safety, and a week later planes started crashing into each other.” That’s it. That’s the messaging. Don’t get bogged down disputing Trump’s false claims. Just blame him, in short and repeatable sentences.

Donald Trump is the president. The deadliest plane crash in nearly 24 years happened under his watch. If people died all the time because of Biden and DEI, then how come we didn't have any plane crashes like we did last night?

Gosh, I remember when we had an actual president instead of a loudmouth bully who won't take responsibility for his actions.

Andrew Eaves, one of the Army pilots in the Black Hawk helicopter that crashed yesterday with the American Airlines plane, clearly does not look like a DEI hire. His family deserves better than MAGA claiming it, and his wife is asking for the "negative comments" to stop.

DO NOT LET THAT BE THE STORY! HE CAUSED THIS WITH HIS RECKLESS GOVERNANCE. HIS CHAOS AND INCOMPETENCE HAS CONSEQUENCES.

Who was the person Trump put in position at the time of the fatal crash? Perhaps instead of focusing on being so hateful there should be a focus on actually doing your job!

All of that talk about not voting or voting third party. Okay. You got some TikToks likes. You were popular for a few weeks. Now what? How did that help ANY group that will suffer?

You saw it. They are going to try to convince you that you didn’t see it. So right now your cognitive dissonance is kicking in an attempt to overcome the part of your brain that knows you saw what you saw.

Your purpose on earth is not to argue with people who intentionally want to misunderstand you

I just have to say this because it’s bothering me. I am a strong believer in solidarity. But I feel like a conversation needs to take place. I cannot mentally make the jump from those election results to solidarity with some groups of people. I feel they smiled in my face and stabbed me in the back.

We must choose our fights wisely. Trump and his followers will be pulling the rope a dope method and we will exhaust ourselves chasing his ridiculous claims, etc. We cannot focus on all the small fires. We have to move wisely. I still believe in the power of the people when we stand together.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO WAIT TILL THE MIDTERMS!!! Pay attention to your local and state votes! In around 130 days, Wisconsin has an election for their own Supreme Court! Look at your local government websites and find schedules and such.

I love on BlueSky when you block someone their picture is blurred instantly. Just out in the void. I know so many have said this but the joy I feel not needing to deal w/ the constant hate, being called the n word, death threats, pile ons from a post, etc. Now maybe we can just have a conversation.

I honestly don’t know why we are playing this game and it will be media stories, etc for weeks. They are going to confirm everyone he picks. Period. It doesn’t matter what they have done. They have given Trump the ability to do whatever. So confirm them and get on with the fall of the nation. 🙄

Loving Black women means supporting their efforts. It can't be just vibes

It is difficult for many to believe and face the fact that a good majority of Americans think just like Donald Trump. Trump isn’t pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes. They know exactly who he is and they fully support him. None of this could have happened without many American people supporting it.

A lot of politicians need to have that Joe Biden spirit. I know it is hard when you are a leader to step back, put ego aside & utilize your resources to put another person forward but we need some fresh, new leadership. It’s okay to say my journey is done here and now it’s another person’s turn.

White supremacy needs to feed. It is a parasite. Twitter will not sustain itself in its current form because it became a hate platform and hates needs something to feed off of. With people leaving, particularly Black people, they will resort to turning on each other or leave the app.

All of the negative things coming out about some of Trump’s cabinet picks only work in their favor. There is no bottom. When Trump is the standard by which they measure everyone else in the cabinet, it will only be those who dwell in the gutters of life. Their bad behavior is a bonus.

As soon as I hear “not all” I head in the opposite direction. Immediate red flag. That person is not safe.

I have officially deactivated my Twitter account. It was fun until it wasn’t fun. I don’t mind healthy conversations but it morphed into nothing but constant hate and harassment. That app turned into something that was soul sucking. I am happy to be here to share and to learn! Let’s go!

I honestly don’t want to hear ONE thing from anyone about DEI and who is/isn’t qualified after I have seen some of these cabinet choices. It’s beyond comprehension to me. We tried to warn folks and they didn’t listen, so I am in the let them find out phase of my life.

It’s nice to see some familiar faces here. I am happy to be in a place to share my thoughts, to learn, and to laugh without hate always knocking on the door.
