I'd like more bands to book gigs at a theatre with a box office (= no extra charges). Just bought a ticket for Black Country, New Road from a gent in a booth at Stockport Plaza which was quite satisfying.

Whenever I see anyone playing pool in a pub, I think of this completely beautiful clip of W C Fields with a pool cue. Such a graceful depiction of drunkenness.
