I’ve finally finished revising my novella. Taking a break before I write new material. In the meantime, I’m reading Carlo Rovelli’s Anaximander, painting, marinating ideas, and living. The reward of writing IS writing and learning through the process, not some imagined recognition or publication.

Disney has lost nearly $4 Billion in three days from combined stock price collapse and cancelled subscriptions.

I’m so glad I got got rid of Hulu six months ago. ABC cancelled Jimmy Kimmel, cancel Hulu, ESPN and Disney. That’s the appropriate response to that. Cancel culture goes both ways. Can’t allow an evil conglomerate to win against the people it’s extracting from.

Today, the UN officially designated Israel’s assault on Gaza as a genocide. As a party to the Genocide Convention, the U.S. has a legal obligation to obey our own laws, stop weapons sales to Israel, and demand a permanent ceasefire. End the genocide. Ceasefire now.

I had a busy weekend—photoshoot to move my portrait project forward, writing, and work—but today I rested. Finally got a Nintendo Switch 2 and started playing Persona 4 Golden. Also played around with Zelda Notes. Not bad. I’m loving the Switch 2! Can’t wait for the Stardew Valley update.

I exported my LiveJournal entries from 2004-2005. I found a list of goals I wrote in 1997, which I reflected on in 2004 (on LJ). It made me cry in 2025 for the girl in 1997—she knew where her life was going. I did every single thing on that list, as in all. I’m now living the outcome of that list.

A friend said she admires my grit in both my personal life and artistry. I stepped back to see my life from her POV. Though it may be a Sisyphean task, I have a NEED to keep pushing the boulder up in this eternal present I live in—where uncertainty makes imagining a future impossible. #artistlife

Today, I watched Terry Gilliam’s Brazil at the Film Forum, went to the 8-Ball Zine office to pick up my unsold zines & chat with the staff. The first person who bought my zine went to my IG to tell me it was a great read, then he thanked me. I wanted to reach one person, I did—I’ve succeeded. ♥️
