found a picture yesterday from the first few days after i adopted her 😭 glued to my side from day one to her last good day. when she didn’t even want me to touch her anymore, i think that’s when my heart started to break bc i knew something was seriously wrong :<

it’s been three weeks (already? only?) and i’m doing better but tonight i’m not. tonight all i want is my cat back. i just want to have her laying on my shoulder and purring in my ear. i would give anything to have her crawling all over me when it’s inconvenient and trying so hard just to love me.

missing my sweet girl extra hard today. missing her silly little old lady meows, her stomping at her sister to get her to play, her chasing her tail & walking all over me every chance she got. missing snuggles and head bunts and morning kisses. missing her yelling until i brushed her w my hairbrush.

if anyone has any advice on how to cope with pet loss, i’m open ears. i havent had to deal with it in so long and im not sure i know how to anymore. i can’t stop crying and looking at everything that reminds me of my baby and sobbing harder. my other cat is being very clingy now & i feel so guilty

i unexpectedly had to put my cat down today and it has been the worst day of my life and i miss her so fucking much i feel like i left a part of my heart at the vet and im never going to get it back. she was the love of my life and everything is worse now and i don’t know what to do without her
