Good news though, and I can’t believe it, my parents bought me an iPad Pro! Of course I didn’t ask and I would never have expected them to. I offered to pay it back. I’ve never borrowed money off of anyone in my life, and my dad knows this. He told me it’s not borrowing, it’s a gift

Went to Apple about the broken iPad and they couldn’t get it to start either. He thinks it’s a board issue. I’ll need to send it for data recovery and hope they’re able to help me get my data back. Going to cost a fortune but if they can’t get the data, I don’t have to pay anything
