I've been writing Rust/Python for 5 yrs, but just started a project requiring all C (last touched 16 years ago!). I know some complain about Rust's slow compiler, but I'll say the trade-off for INSANELY useful error messages has felt like at best a wash & probably still in Rust's favor.
