There's no contradiction between being a huge multicultural multilingual country and being a white ethnostate. Look at Israel and Canada (which are in part reflections of the US), they're both at the same time. Nations and states aren't the same thing, otherwise 'nation-state' would be redundant.

We've got to stop behaving as if we're not responsible for one other. Eradicate from your mind expressions like, "I don't owe you anything.""They/she/he doesn't owe you anything." That "owe" is thinking of us in terms of transactions as if our value is only important in terms of profit & loss.

So the main culture war in Germany, fought by the country’s leader, is that despite mass deportations there are still too many non-white men in German cities: which needs to change so that white German daughters can feel safer. That’s an actual position that he is taking. An incitement to violence.

Interesting how the Indigenous woman kidnapped from the Conscious flotilla isn't getting a fraction of the attention as white participants. Even articles aren't naming her! Her name is Mskwaasin Agnew.

Much like how people are also naturally drawn towards spirituality and end up in Christian cults because of it, we can observe the appeal that these things have and their core benefits, and try to offer our own options that aren't founded on hierarchy, control, and patriarchal/racial dominance

The fact that influential right-wing grifters weaponize people's natural instincts towards wanting to be in the forest and desire to "go back" to what they see as a simpler, less shitty version of society than the one we live in is a problem, but it's one that reveals opportunities for the left

Settler colonialism and the European ties between 'Volkishness' and ethnonationalism/ecofascism make this subject super tricky. A colonized people trying to retain their connection to the Land and their Ways is not the same as 'Blood and Soil'. But making the distinction to people who don't have 1/2

Something I’ve pondered on for years is how often I heard First Nations individuals express-in different contexts-a respect for Germany’s affirmative stance in atoning for the Holocaust, sometimes followed by a desire for similar commitment & long-lasting approach by Canada for its genocidal sins.
