There's no contradiction between being a huge multicultural multilingual country and being a white ethnostate. Look at Israel and Canada (which are in part reflections of the US), they're both at the same time. Nations and states aren't the same thing, otherwise 'nation-state' would be redundant.

As someone raised by traumatized holocaust survivors it is unspeakably painful to witness the descendants of their tormentors weaponize their suffering against new victims, defeating all my hopes in human redemption. Germany is as Germany was. There is truly nothing else left to say about it.
