So I finished Stone Cold Blood whilst having a cheeky hour away from the convention. I think I underestimated how much completing a book will just knock me out. I'm absolutely shattered now.

The problems I had with Gardens of the Moon have been completely corrected in reading Deadhouse Gates. It represents a remarkable improvement in quality without sacrificing anything in complexity. It has a blistering pace and importantly, all the POVs are interconnected despite geographical distance
