Picked up The First Slam Dunk as a $10 blind buy. Haven’t watched or played basketball in probably 15 years, and my first exposure to the Slam Dunk series. This thing had me glued to the screen and cheering for a high school basketball game like I was really there. Highly recommended. #Blutoid

Just went to a showing of Johnny Mnemonic in Black & White. Never seen the original, but this was incredible. It has Dolph Lundgren as a cyborg Jesus assassin that screams “Jesus Time!” & crucifies Henry Rollins. It looked fantastic in B&W too. Loved every second. 5 out of 5, no notes. #Blutoid

Virtuosity (1995) was extremely entertaining! Ridiculous CGI, Russell Crowe playing a cackling psycho, and Denzel Washington has a macguffin metal arm. If you think about any point of the story for more than two seconds, it makes no sense. Pure movie logic all the way through. #Blutoid

I went into Undefeatable blind, thinking it was just going to be a cheesy martial arts movie with Cynthia Rothrock, and that would have been more than enough. I was very wrong! Definitely one of the best I’ve seen from Vinegar Syndrome. Looks fantastic in 4k too. Highly recommended. #Blutoid

Drive (1997). Terrible dialogue, no chemistry b/w the leads, excellent action sequences, and a 30+ minute inconsequential subplot in the middle with Brittany Murphy as a bugs bunny-esque hornball. Highly recommended, especially for any fans of the masterpiece that is Double Team (1997). #Blutoid

This movie stars Elliot from E.T. in a spy movie where he has an Atari game with government secrets on it. Grown men chase him around with guns and try to murder him. I went into it expecting “so bad it’s good” because it’s on Vinegar Syndrome, but it’s actually just fantastic and rules. #Blutoid

Took the plunge on a 65” LG C4 OLED TV about a month ago, and it’s been incredible. Finally moving over to 4k blu rays now too, and these are some of my recent buys. No idea why Heathers and Bloodsport didn’t release in the US, but stoked to watch them with the fancy new 4k transfers! #Blutoid

I bought Bayonetta 3 on launch day, played two hours, and didn’t touch it again until yesterday. Old news to most by now, but it runs really great on Switch 2. It absolutely rules. #Blutoid

Finally picked up Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and that shit is neat as hell. First 30 minutes kinda scared me into thinking it’d be lame the whole time, because there were so many cutscenes, but it gets damn good once it actually lets you play.

Biannual reminder that Extreme Job (2019) is a 10/10 movie. It’s the perfect buildup of goofy comedy meets unexpected action. I love it unconditionally.
