What a joy to see once again The Awful Truth by Leo McCarey, a 1937 screwball comedy starring Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. There is nothing - bar a @whitstillman.bsky.social movie - to touch the elegance, wit and charm of such a gem of American cinema.
