They know what it's like to not have much, & hope everyone can afford their art. SHOW them they CAN ask more. Don't just Tell them.

This is a PSA for anyone who follows artists: Your comments are NOT annoying! I think I speak for many of us we are starved for praise on our work so please if you have something to say lay it on thick WE LIKE IT. I promise you it is not seen as cringe or a bother, we love the interaction!

This please. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just hearing "I like this" or "this is so cute" really is nice and makes my day! I don't know how or why people started thinking it was annoying or insincere to give compliments but it's not. Artists like knowing if people resonate with things we make.

Hey dear Artists, we need you now more than ever, so please don't stop creating, sharing, and doing what sometimes feels like screaming into the void. Someone will hear you. Someone will be needing to hear and see you, and this alone makes it worth it.

To all the artists creating in these times: thank you. It’s not easy to make beauty, truth, or meaning when the world feels chaotic. Whether it helps you breathe or comforts others, your work matters. Art doesn’t need to fix the world to be meaningful, sometimes it just needs to exist.

Seeing a lot of discussion today about number of followers and how much artists make, so just want to remind everyone, if you like an artist, try to support them however you can. Even if you can't spare any money, just reposting their stuff and promoting them when you can is great.

i hope people understand that supporting an artist with $1 goes a long way, because even if it looks very little on it's own, if i.e 20 people pledge it's $20 and so on. donations and pledges don't have to be enormous to be meaningful.

Your stories and art are worth telling and sharing. They don’t have to be groundbreaking or revolutionary. They just need to be YOURS.

No exceptions. If you use Gen A I in any capacity whatsoever, you suck. Yes, the way you're using it too. You're not special. "She probably doesn't mean me" I do.

It took me a very long time to learn "do your best" does not mean "give 100% effort even at the expense of your physical or mental health" or "give A+ effort even when it is clearly not appreciated or valued". Sometimes doing your best is heating up a can of soup and going to bed early.

Keep sharing your art. If you have the means and can safely do so, keep sharing. You never know who needs to see your art, and what impact it will bring. A quick glimpse into an artist's imagination can be enough to help pull someone through. There is hope in creativity.
