Possibly. I did see a company that makes sap in a fiber form rather than powder. It seems like an interesting option but, idk if they'd be willing to sell to me. MOQ is set for manufacturers. I don't have the space or money for a 1000 kg order of anything.

All I can think about is how I can improve the usable absorbency of my diapers. I use a lot of sap powder (the stuff that swells and turns to gel when wet). I need fluids to flow through the entire thickness of the padding and reach all the sap without padding falling apart before saturation.
