THE LAST JEDI and THE RISE OF SKYWALKER actually work together quite nicely if you don’t have entitled clowns & snark merchants angrily yelling regurgitated talking points in your ear. They wanna fall all over themselves to tell us what IX “retcons” (a now useless term), but there’s so much payoff.

Oh, I have so many of them that would tick off all sorts of folks. Let's go with: THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT is an incredibly underrated Star Wars show, and works hand-in-hand with THE MANDALORIAN to tell a story about renewal and choosing your own path after a lifetime of having it chosen for you.

Yeah. Good wrap-up in MAUL: SHADOW LORDS Episodes 9 & 10. Complete arc from 1, with the excellent promise of more. Season Two of this show is gonna be so damn good. The action was great, although a bit long. The twists and turns of the escape from Janix – all nailed. Lightsaber dueling – epic.

YES. YES. ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY! Episodes 7 & 8 of MAUL: SHADOW LORD are exactly what I was hoping for from this series from its announcement. High-stakes action, dextrous and thoughtful writing, the evils of the Empire contrasted with the slightly-less-but-still-evil of Maul... yep, they nailed it.

Braves commentator: *thinks this will just be fun Star Wars trivia with a rando from the audience* Alex:

The Empire comes down HARD in Episodes 5 & 6 of MAUL: SHADOW LORD, and with their occupation comes great questions about freedom vs. "safety", allies and enemies, and the nature of the truth. These are both solid episodes, but my pacing issues in the third episode heightened in the fifth episode.

MAUL: SHADOW LORD eps. 3 & 4 are a very good continuation of everything set up in 1 & 2. I found 3 to be a lot of connective tissue from the A points set up in 1 & 2 to where the writers wanted to get us in 4, and I wish stuff had moved a bit faster, especially because of the 10 ep season.

I studied Orbán’s despotism in a class I took last fall, and I cannot overstate how huge this is for the people of Hungary, as well as for us here in Anerica, as Orbán’s Hungary was the end goal for our authoritarian movements. I hope we see Hungary redemocratize in the coming years!
