Fun extra challenge as I wrap my pre-trip writing is having Bailey undress and finally figuring out how I want the cybernetic arms to look back there. Wanted to nail the balance of "this is horrible Frankenstein tech that should kill her" and Bailey's commitment to looking sleek and smooth.

I started writing long form stuff because of the multipart Behind the Bastards series on Ben Shapiro's absolutely horrendous fiction book. The mindset of "well I have more ideas and I can at least write better than this fucker" is powerful and you can use it.

Only sad part of how defined Singing Strix is in my mind is needing to be patient on building out a key element of its third arc. Extremely unique. Don't think there's anything quite like it in the genre right now, but I need to focus on the first two cool arcs and the prologue material first.
