If you've read The Long Earth, this is a great way to re-live it and dive deeper. Entertaining and also caught things I did not across a few re-reads. If you've not read it or the series, go and read it! Brilliant and also poignant in todays world.

Working through the brilliant Long Earth series by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter via audiobook. Amazing just how relevant and eerily poignant in the present day they are, capturing divisiveness, persecution of 'different', protectionism, and dangers vs benefits of technology.

Just finished listening to this in 45 min chunks. Amazing learning how the Mongols were to an era what the Sea peoples were to the end of Bronze age civilisations. Also fascinating to see the exchange of science and technology shift West to kickstart the renaissance in Europe. Highly recommended!!

Gave an opportunity to a senior (UK) leader within a company today to support International day for persons with disabilities. Explained the (fab) hidden disability sunflower, and then told they already understand disabled people as can't hear out of 1👂 and there's too many days of things already 😔

This!!!! Terry Pratchett was pretty much a prophet, who held up a mirror to society with words more apt every day. Be it politics, religeon, extremism, prejudice, social media hatred, bias in many forms and much more. Journalists/reporters, why is this not explored more? Possibly too close to fact?

Amazingly proud of son and his class. They studied a book 'A kind of spark' about witch trials, and asked the coubcil for a plaque, for local victims and to be a symbol for their beliefs for an inclusive world. Perfect words, and my new memorial for peace and humanity. This is what the world needs!

An eclipse is amazing to experience. No success in capturing via camera except one experiment through plastic glasses in the run up. Also had eclipse cookies and sat on a swing in eery near darkness for a few mins afterwards too. One for the memories!
