I don’t think Nintendo is perfect by any stretch, but they’re definitely masters at responding to the overall mood. During the pandemic, we got a game about talking to your neighbors and giving them presents and nice letters. Now, we get a giant ape just smashing the shit out of everything.

What I do find a bit odd... September and October are looking pretty hectic in terms of game releases. November... ghost town (COD aside). What's happening there? Is it all GTA? Why aren't folk spreading things about?
