Jaimey came into this year holding five meaningful, long-term goals. Nothing was failing, but nothing was landing either. When we opened their Map and found the center, one clean commitment instead of divided devotion, their nervous system settled, and the work finally started to move.

I was the oldest grandchild, trained early to be the glue, the bridge, the capable one who could hold what others could not. This is about the inheritance of being useful, the quiet erosion of depletion, and the moment I realized that loving my family did not require offering my body as collateral.

Treating your body like a resource to be spent down for meaningful work is colonial time logic. It teaches us that extraction is devotion and depletion is proof that something matters.
