A little humble dad brag… we went to Massachusetts and Maryland for lacrosse. 18 days 2 states 2 teams played for 3 tournaments 2 championships 2500 miles driven on the east coast. We got to visit UMass, Penn State, Philly, Jersey, New York, Boston, Salem and DC.

2x Inside Lacrosse Summer Derby Champs! What a great road trip.

Tournament update!!! The boys ended the day at 2-0 Game 1 was tough. 7-6 win Game 2 was still a challenge but ended 10-1. The other team fought hard we just couldn’t miss on D or our shots. Also our goalies were on fire!

We stopped at Penn State on the way to the next tournament.

Got to see my best friend marry the love of his life last night. The bride was beautiful, the church was set up perfectly, the reception was so much fun and I had the best date.

Okay y’all. Got the final fitting for my buddies wedding. This is the first time I’ve ever felt like I looked okay in a suit.

Y’all it couldn’t have gone any better for what we had. My daughter had someone call out at work so she couldn’t make it but everything else went so awesomely. I definitely see myself living the rest of my life with her.

Next big milestone is tonight. The kids have known each other for a long time but haven’t seen each other in years. We are all having dinner tonight with my mom. Wish me luck y’all

Date ? Update… idk how many there have been now. The last one was the night before my birthday and she and her kids got me a birthday pie. Some words were said (good words only) . Y’all she is so effing dope. The 3 of them even sang happy birthday! How many teenagers would sing to a mom’s boyfriend?

Date 7 update! I went to her place for lunch with a really great group of folks that she has been friends with for a long time. Usually it’s tough meeting 1 friend but this was 15 people. They were all so welcome and kind. I spent all day with her and I still miss her by the time I got to the car

Date 6? Update Last night she came with me to Big Country’s Lacrosse game. Even though she teaches at a “Rival” school she wore his teams hoodie. She re met Coll, my mom and The kids mom. She is still absolutely the best and I dig her very much. Her kids are pretty great too. Date 7 is today.

Don’t know how the magic happened but I caught Big Country channeling his inner Beast Mode 😂

Y’all I just bought a shirt and it’s a large! When I first got divorced I was almost a 3XL

Date 4.5 and date 5 updates. 4.5 was a quick meet up to support her daughter in an activity. That was pretty great. Date 5 I brought her lunch and we watched Murderers in the building. It was my first time watching it and it was great. Then we went to her church for service.

Date 4ish update Brought her coffee at work then took her to an unplanned lunch. Still have the 2 dates planned for tomorrow. She is still absolutely amazing and I feel pretty dang blessed to have met her yet alone take her out.

Date 3 update… It was her bday. Went and found her favorite cake for her. I got to meet her son. He was so polite. Her daughter is pretty great too. Y’all she is still so amazing. Next dates are planned already. I started missing her as I drove away. She is so effing dope!
