This is the part of box construction I find nerve-wracking and I probably shouldn't be combining steps (book cloth on the "hinges," Hollander's Jade 403 PVA "thick" for the "fixed" walls) but this is a crude prototype, so.

Always nervous to admit to this given the startling (?) number of people I know who do serious/professional bookbinding instead of jank hobby mode but the feeling of relief opening up your bottle of Jade 403 PVA and finding that it *isn't* gloopily dried up because you didn't close the cap properly.

I have three emotions this morning, 2.8 of which are "if my mom saw how jankily I'm mitering these corners (box-making/bookbinding) SHE WOULD HAVE MY HEAD." /o\

Baby's first floor loom weave! It's ~2.5x the length of this one-person futon. It has Hideous Baby's First Trapezoid Weaving Nature (I've used pin looms and messed with a couple table looms, first time with a floor loom) and the weft is ten different kinds of handspun but gotta start somewhere.
