My little needle felt family so far. My 1st was Robin, 2nd Hare and 3rd Baby Bunny. Next is a Fox. In the future I would like to create some sort of base, grass, flowers etc. Then I think I will start to collect wool so I can go beyond kits and do my own thing. Still lots to learn.

My latest finished needle felt project. I was aiming for cute but also this was a practice project on learning to do more realistic fur. Also blending colours together.

A new project as I am mostly home alone this Christmas. Slightly daunted mainly because I want to do better than my other needle felt animals that I have so far made. 🤞🦊

I drew this a while ago and my customer (I'm a gardener), who died yesterday, asked if he could buy it. I said don't be daft and handed to him. He was so pleased. For all I know it's still hanging on his wall. RIP Danny xx

Finally finished my needle-felting Hare (I know it looks more like a rabbit but I think the colours were wrong). I really enjoyed making it.

There is one bird I hear each year that tells me that Winter is here. The Fieldfare.

I chopped up this bad boy the other day. Still got two others to do but this one was a beast. Very heavy. Something to look forward to going with my roast dinners.😋

Currently making a hare with some bits of wool and a jagged little needle. Amazingly therapeutic (if like me anxious a lot) stabbing away with a needle. Needle felt look it up!

In my job I learn new things all the time with nature. Today I learnt a small grey squirrel can pick up an apple and taking it up a tree and jump onto a shed roof, then put it down and it rolls off and he loses it. I left him/her/they a little pile of apples before I went home 😉

I feel spoilt for choice on who should be put on a bonfire this year

Feeling emotionally drained. One of my customers has just gone into a care home and another has just had a very bad fall and isn't doing so well at the moment. I know they are both in their 90's but they are still lovely human beings with lots of spirit even if their bodies are failing them. ❤️

October is a powerful month as the veil thins. I find the energy intense and at times tiring. At the same time it is probably the best time to reconnect and ground. Glastonbury Tor at sunset tonight.

I may change the bearings on the Ridge eventually so I can just bum around where I live (not the smoothest roads) and learn freestyle flat ground tricks on my new board.

I learn to skateboard or go for a walk in the early am these days. My need to avoid people feels like it is getting worse. Nice stars and owls though. Rather see those than people.

Thought I was the only one to walk in the dark where I live. Turns out I'm not saw a dog walker down the lane I walk with a headtorch on. Thought better switch a light on so as not to freak out owner or their dogs. Dogs were pretty chilled as it turns out. I will have to go earlier though.

Sorry had to share this. I saw one Wood Pigeon trying to shag another clearly injured and unwell Wood Pigeon. Honestly men!! I threw a stone and he flew away. The other one is quietly sitting in the sun. At peace. Poor thing.
