I just finished the first book, and half of me is mad that no one has told me about this series before, and the other half is gleefully rubbing hands and pressing buttons to buy sequels. m/m urban fantasy set in the 60ies, where magical cases are solved between libraries and family kitchens 😍😍

It’s not very often that I find a sequel is more enjoyable than the first book, but here it is: Thief of Night holds better than Book of Night (but arguably it’s just a big book split into two). Still not as good as Curseworkers, alas.
