I head back to work tomorrow. But I was able to watch over 50 films already for 2026. I also 100% “Monsters are coming: Rock & Road” on my steamdeck. I’m about half way done with my first book of 26, “The Last Flight”. Good start to the year media wise.

A broader refusal of talent to work for Disney would be immensely disruptive. It's not just Star Wars and marvel. It's also 20th century studios, Pixar, and a plethora of other content. A creative boycott of Disney would destroy them.

Tom Hanks is pretty great. Been on a roll watching his films lately. Of the last 20 movies I watched, 15 have been tom hanks features. Still have to rewatch the green mile. And others!

Tom Hanks is great. But oh boy was “The Circle” not a good movie. He was the lone bright spot really. Makes me wonder if Emma Watson is a good actress or not. I really need to watch her version of Little Women.

I have this app, TV Club that I enjoy and have used for years. Saw they added folders which is cool. Only for members… okay maybe I’ll support. I support @letterboxd.social which is probably my favorite app. But man TV Club is $8 a MONTH. I think I pay less than $30 a YEAR for LB…

Elio is certainly one of Pixar's best films in years, but a lackluster marketing campaign makes it seem like Disney didn't have faith in it.

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched Doing a Pixar and MCU rewatch(Lightyear was a first tho) and got to see the long awaited 28 years.

I don’t know the last time I was so unsure of what to rate a movie as I am right now thinking about #28YearsLater lots to like. But also the hype I had. And just wanting more.
