I've just been made aware of this. Perfight is a 3D Tsukihime fan-game that predates Melty Blood 1 by 2 months. It's sold out on every online storefront, and doesn't seem to be archived anywhere - Not even a cursory Google search yields any screenshots. This is my new White-Whale.

I kinda like the fact that Deadlock's ranking system is hidden behind several screens. Probably a placeholder but I like it cause it encourages you to play the game cause you like it rather than to increase some arbitrary number.

Plus R and VF5 REVO are Peak fighting game. They are like everything I want out of the genre and any time I play any other game I just end up missing those two.

this screenshot really makes me wonder how the game will play on stick. Maybe its just one assist button and you do back+assist, down+assist, forward+assist for the different characters. The Hud design with the triangle seems to suggest that. pls just be a six button game.
