It’s my birthday today. My husband is going to bake me a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. I wish my mom were here to share the cake with us. I’m very lucky my stepdad is still with us. My dad too. I hope this year is better.

Trying to back up my Google Photos offline because the Google bastards are holding my email account hostage unless I pay them for storage. It’s so hard to go through my mom’s photos and shares without crying. Even without her, her email is still there. I’ll never get another reply. It still hurts.

The dermatologist I had yesterday was nuts. 2.7⭐️ on Google and Ultra M*GA. She painfully biopsied my arm 3 times (ow stitches!), gave me 2 shots in my belly, and left me feeling like I’d been through a hurricane. …The good news is the drugs worked! My skin is already clearing up! Yay!!!

After my mom died, I was an absolute wreck. Then my body decided it wasn't bad enough for me and my skin broke out in a full body episode that even steroids won't touch. I've been in constant pain for the past 3 weeks haha. I've just been in bed sleeping. I wanna feel normal again.

I keep having the urge to call my mom to check on her. It'll probably never go away.

I’m so ready for the MAO anime next spring. Something to actually look forward to. I love Rumiko Takahashi’s stories so much and I’ve been following MAO since 2019 when the manga debuted. Time travel, demons, onmyouji, & my favorite Rumic lead characters in Mao and Nanoka. This old weeb is happy.

My mother passed away last night. She wasn’t a perfect mother by any means, but she was MY mom and I loved her. I especially loved making her laugh. I don’t know how to navigate this grief.

Sorry for being so silent! Family is still taking the majority of my time!! Mom is still in the hospital recovering and hopefully will move to the physical therapy facility today. She hates being in the hospital so much and I can't blame her, but whew, is she ever a handful when she's angry.

My mom broke her hip last week and is still in the hospital. She has many other chronic illnesses compounding her inability to heal. Today they told her she needs a feeding tube but she's terrified to get it. The doctor told her it was either the tube or go to hospice. I'm so worried for my mom. >_<

Saved her AND ended up marrying her! Well. As married as drow can get.
