I know it has THAT single on it and no it’s not their best album, but I adore this record. God he can write a tune and I wish we had heard more

Brilliant album

Still trying to catch up with releases from January and February. This is one of the best albums so far this year, the wonderful Lucinda Williams is very very angry and ego can blame her?

40 years old this October (this I find staggering), the second solo album. Some gorgeous pop songs sadly buried in horrendous brittle mid 80s production. It really was a crap decade…anyway this is worth it for Nick’s pop sense abilities alone

Suella Braverman’s parents emigrated (those horrible economic migrants not from a war zone she hates). She went to Cambridge for free and didn’t collect £27k debt like everyone else. Scrounger. She used the Erasmus scheme to study in France. Which she has blocked. Horrible.

Astonishing thst this record is 30 this year, a fabulous piece of work.
