Got myself a lil treat of a smaller sketchbook (for portability) and also a set of two little coloring books that are not AI and are full of little simple landmarks. I really like them. And they came with a thank you note. 💜

Having one of those "bad at taking care of my needs" days. I just realized it's been over 24 hours since I had a meal. I did put my groceries away but that wore me out and I hit my head on the freezer door standing up. So after that I've just become a slug. Gonna eat now though. I feel icky.

Huh, I didn't skeet from chemo today. It went poorly, I possibly had an allergic reaction to some of what they gave me and it made me feel SO BAD. They gave me some stuff to counteract that at the end and it just made me really tired and woozy. And then I rode all over the place after.

Final Fantasy Tactics remaster came out today. It's my favorite Final Fantasy game, it might actually be my favorite game, period. Did I pre-order it? No. Do I have the money for it now? Also no. Eventually... For now I'll just stick to Hello Kitty Island Adventure...

I've bled a lot today. 😑 Had to get an IV at my CT scan because the nurses at the diagnostic center apparently can't use a port. It bled like crazy when they took it out. Had to change my ostomy, have a random cut along the bottom of where the dressing goes around it. Got adhesive remover in it.

Maintenance man is back with the part for my potty, yay! I really need to be in there taking a shower, but hopefully he's quick. Got CT scans today and my friend is taking me out for post-birthday birthday lunch after. 💜

Just cleared out my voicemail. Hadn't done it since last Tuesday. 43 messages. How many messages does it take to fill it up where it doesn't accept any more? I don't even listen to them anymore, I just delete them. It still took me nearly 10 minutes to empty it out.

Yaaaay maintenance guy who lives in my building fixed my sink by just tightening a thing. My toilet needs either a part or to be taken apart, which is apparently a job for the other maintenance guy. I'm still happy, I can cook and wash dishes and not have to deal with my slow ass bathroom sink.

Realized I've been idly stroking Dante since he sits right at arm's length for like an hour now without realizing it. He got up and kinda grumbled at me when I stopped. He used to get annoyed with me for petting him for more than 30 seconds.

Bleh. Woke up thanks to acid reflux. Maybe lemon cheesecake before bed was a bad idea. I really need to get some more of my anti-heartburn med I'm supposed to be on. I didn't realize it was actually doing something. And I suppose the steroid I was on just exacerbated things.

Aaaaaand I think I have a room for MAGFest secured. Eeeee. Now I just gotta figure out transportation.

Chopped my hair off. Got it done at a very nice salon, my bestie paid for me as a birthday gift. I feel much lighter. And you can't see my patches where it's been falling out after radiation. I don't have enough to tie back anymore. But I do have enough to stick out from under a hat or a bandana.

I'm so freaking exhausted this week. I guess it's the combo of no more steroids and restarting chemo, but I genuinely feel zero motivation to do much of anything. I need to clean, so I'm gonna still do stuff, but what a huge drop in energy...

Friends brought me matzoh ball soup and I've never had it before, I've just had like regular chicken noodle. It was *excellent*. They left the carrots and celery quite large and they were cooked perfectly.

Chemo part deux, I get fluids when they disconnect my pump because chemo tends to dehydrate you. But this part is easy. I didn't pay attention to the scale when they weighed me today. But my blood pressure is alright, thankfully.

Shit I just realized it's Talk Like a Pirate Day and I don't have anything piratey to wear to chemo. I used to have a whole ensemble. I guess I'm gonna bandana my hair up at least. But that's because it looks awful. I have a good hat but I'm not digging it out.

Slept till 6:45. I'd call that success, even though I'm still sleepy. Also learned why my blood sugar was crazy high when they tested it Wednesday. And why I've been waking up having to pee. It's this stupid steroid they have me on. Sunday is supposed to be my last day of this stuff.

Something is definitely up with my left eye. That's the side my brain crap is on, so I'm trying not to freak out about it, but I've noticed I keep it closed involuntarily a lot and if I close my right eye, my vision is a bit cloudy. It's watering too. Cataracts are a side effect of radiation. 😮‍💨

Aaah my friend got me the brand new Hello Kitty DLC! 😁 ...as though I haven't been dumping enough time into this game as it is. 😅 I am gonna wait till tomorrow to start it because I've already put in four hours today. Not that I feel like doing a lot else currently, but eh.
