This is the fourth time I've woken up today. No complaints, thankful for the sleep and to not just be awake feeling like butt from chemo. Now I gotta drink fluids or I'll feel a lot worse 💜

This round of chemo is going kinda rough. They've slowed it down a lot, but I still feel overheated and nauseous. I have an ice bag on my neck and shoulders and I'm still sweating like crazy. 🤢 Stupid body.

A friend who was angry that they couldn't ethically stream EA games anymore was also trying to defend buying Harry Potter stuff last night and I was pretty adamant about how I felt and they left the chat. I was surprisingly the odd person out, other people in the chat were not on my side.

Mmf. Reaping randomly napping for most of the day from sowing being awake so early this morning for like three hours. I think I'm properly awake now. My snow from this morning is gone, turned to rain and went away. Nothing was sticking to the ground anyway.

So I dozed back off with my phone in my arm and somehow managed to turn on All Things Must Pass by George Harrison in my sleep. My mom loved that album and I woke up again with my favorite song from it (What is Life) playing two inches from my face. Mom? You haunting me today?

I didn't mean to actually stay up when I woke up at 5 but then I was scrolling and read a thing about Spotify alternatives and now I have Qobuz and all my stuff transferred over in like five minutes. And they pay artists way better and have higher quality audio. And my playlists rule.

Didn't know it was supposed to snow. Woke up to use the bathroom and I could hear sleet hitting my roof. There's a little bit of white stuff out there but idk what's sticking. It's mostly on the car rooves.

Got my air fryer. Stuck a couple hot pockets in there. I've never had such a good hot pocket. The crust is like three times thicker. Unbelievable.

Games I think are neat need to stop being very inexpensive. *adds Ball X Pit to her Steam library*

Just played all of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley and it was lovely! A nice little story and some puzzles, what more could I want? Besides more of it. 😅

Friends I don't hear from often came up today and brought me a whole Thanksgiving dinner and a whole pie and of course they showed up right after my groceries got delivered so we had to fight for fridge space. I still have stuff to put away, after they left I passed out and slept for like 3 hours.

I did all my Christmas shopping, got myself an air fryer and a rice cooker because I'm sick of not having them, paid all my bills, ordered groceries for tomorrow. I'm slightly poor now but I'm happy. I put an extra blanket on my bed and me and Dante are all curled up warm and happy. An okay day.

I got my MRI today and the tech blew my vein when he did the IV so I wound up with contrast under my skin/in my muscle. It hurt really bad, even though the IV stick really didn't. It's still sore. The report back says my metastases shrank. So that's good, I think. I'll find out more Wednesday.

I'm awake, but my kitty has burrowed into my arms and is purring super hard, so obviously I'm not going to move.

I'm stupid, I should've gotten a pumpkin pie. I was alright till my friends mentioned pumpkin pie, and then I was jealous. Ugh. I wish I had somewhere to be or someone to be with.

Trying to decide whether to thaw out my octopus. I'm making pasta right now because my beef needs to be used up, and I'll eat that for days. I just don't know how I'll feel tomorrow. Just gonna be me and the kitty for Thanksgiving. Better than being in the hospital like I was last year at least.

I shouldn't be up this late but I guess it doesn't really matter. My body just keeps making orange water. 🤢 The shot in the ass doesn't appear to have solved the issue. I'm downing Imodium to try and get it under control. All I ate today was chicken nuggets 😭

I officially jinxed it. Just got massively sick, my bed caught the worst of it and I cannot change my sheets by myself without a lot of struggle and pain. Sigh.

I guess this time my reaction to chemo is to just sleep entire days away. I don't feel bad, I just don't have a ton of energy today and it's raining so I've been asleep most of the day. I'm also just kinda bored.

I need them.

Had my first meeting with a new counselor today. She was nice. I feel a little more confident about what I need to ask my doctors.

I am trying not to jinx it, but I totally cleaned my apartment and made it look nice today, and the last time I had chemo Sunday was the worst day of it, but I don't feel bad at all! I did a ton today. I'm tired, but not exhausted like I overdid it. I'll take it.

I just woke up and legitimately had no idea what day it was. I have to get my apartment into decent shape, I have a counselor coming to see me tomorrow. I also need to make sure I don't sleep through that appointment...

I slept all day. Like I was awake for little bits and pieces, but I definitely slept 95% of the day away. I guess I've got nothing better to do than rest though.

So far today has been: Wake up to phone call about counseling (yes please) Go back to sleep. Wake up because I have to pee, try to watch a thing or two, doze off. Wake up about an hour ago now, don't move, but go through an entire emotional overhaul because of one email and a photo memory

My photo memories were really cruel today. It was the Distant Worlds concert we went to in Boston. One of the hardest trips I've ever been on, my cancer diagnosis was still 6 months away and I was going through almost the worst of it. Went with a friend of 20+ years who is no longer my friend.

Omggggg I have an MMO that I play with friends now and it's super fun and I've made a silly red robot because of course I did, it goes three times faster ❤️

My cough seems to be over for now. Might be playing some PSO with @lucassindri.bsky.social and friends in a bit on Twitch as long as my energy level stays okay. I do want to crash, but I can do that all day tomorrow.

I kinda broke down today, my nurse heard what my frustrations were, particularly the one where my "output" (💩) has been nothing but orange water almost every day since my last treatment, and I was allergic to the stuff they gave me, but then they didn't suggest anything else and I was suffering.

Feeling a lot like nobody gives a shit about me at chemo, already in a shitty mood because of the cough not going away. Their suggestion? Robitussin. I'm not sick, it's a side effect. After I had an allergic reaction to the stuff they gave me for diarrhea last time? I heard nothing back.

I got no problem with you calling your own cat or dog a "baby". But if you're making a post about a cat you found, you should probably refer to the cat as a cat, not just "IS THIS SOMEONE'S BABY? I SAW THIS BABY BEHIND A DUMPSTER, IT WAS HUNGRY!" If I couldn't see the picture, I'd be horrified.

I'm up too early, but at least I didn't oversleep like last time. All I gotta do is eat breakfast, take my meds and get dressed. If I fall back asleep my alarm is still set. Which I might do. I slept pretty well last night, no crazy dreams for once. My cough seems to be gone too. I'll take it.

I feel so crappy. And I have chemo again tomorrow. Which is gonna start all of the super bad side effects over again. Although this cough is maybe the worst, it's SO painful. Hoping they can do something about it. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I cannot keep my eyeballs open today. I took a shower, I had a meal, and I'm still struggling to get through a ten minute YouTube video without dozing off. My side is hurting and I'm trying to not exert myself too much so I don't start coughing again. I was going to cook but there's just no way.

Someday I will get shrimp alfredo right. This attempt is tasty, but my shrimp are all soft and don't have the right texture. I did have to thaw them in a hurry, maybe that had something to do with it.

I woke up at like 5 PM today. I kept waking up, like at 10 AM and 1 PM, but I could not keep my eyes open. Pest control is coming tomorrow so my apartment needed a little bit of a straighten-up, and I'm mostly done with that, but I'm dealing with stupid intestinal stuff and back pain.
