For some people, it may be lifelong (autism). For others, it may be a trauma response (PTSD). And, unless you've known the person for their ENTIRE lives, you don't get to decide. You'll have to trust the person knows who they are & when responses began.

So make sure you think before you speak & show me that communication is actually not a problem for you at all...

Cause & Effect If you control the circumstances or causes, don't complain about another's responses...

No one asks what time & location their interview is for when they've been provided the details. And, no one questions the wisdom & behavior of those who have never failed or betrayed them. So, when you find someone doesn't quite trust you, reflect on the possible reasons they have not to do so.

Someone could end this at any time, just like I can deactivate or delete my account at any time. Guess in which order this would hypothetically take place

"Choices" aren't real choices when we've been so heavily conditioned by trauma that we are blind to our options and resources. Questions like "Why didn't you leave?" & "Why did you keep repeating those patterns?" assume agency that we literally don't comprehend when we're down the rabbit hole.
