Been a month since I last worked on this. I work hard on these paintings and I like how they turn out, but I want to reach a point where I don't rely on copying references so much. I'd like to develop a style that feels like my own.

Ahhhhhhhhhh! @snares.bsky.social is a brilliant and lucky cat! We finally spotted the Bu2ma (不二马) figurines in blind boxes at a shop and we took a calculated gamble. With the expert lion paws, we managed to get this awesome figurine on the first try! Just love the expression and the cuteness!

I really want some peace from the thoughts that are constantly in my head. All these problems with no easy solutions. Started a new painting!

2025 art recap. A year of experimenting and learning. Still figuring things out, but I'm glad I showed up.

Wrote a more detailed Furum thank you note on Facebook, but overall it was a great time meeting up with familiar faces old and new. Also helped that I didn't put too much pressure on myself to dress up and be noticed; no expectations means no stress!
