Haven’t been very productive this whole week. Pretty bummed out speaking with industry peers and my recent assignments have been very uninspiring overall. Will try to snap out of it, just need another day to pull myself together.

As a kid who’s only ever related to animal or robot characters, Hoppers scratches that odd spot in my mind to the effect of what FNAF characters give me. It’s also one of the very few streaming era Pixar films that I was actually excited about — it’s very lovable.

It’s been years since I finished the Beastars manga and don’t recall it ending the same way the anime did… It’s all very jarring and confusing. I’m admittedly biased over Ibuki’s death in both formats; my head cannon was that they would’ve been a pair — the back & forth Shishigumi dynamic was weird.

If I seem quiet that’s cuz I’m focusing on my studies. Classes this semester ending; getting ready for exams mid April — won’t be hitting up FurDU this year sadly, gonna miss my friends. Hope to resume dance fitness next week. News cycle has been a doozy. Playing Guild Wars 2 for normalcy & routine.

Taking the day off to do non-work things. Been busy with assignment deadlines this week. Will resume commissions this weekend an hopefully stream.

Problem with playing too many games is that I get mentally hung up on what my “profession” needs to be, especially when it comes to paper qualifications. It’s taking deliberate effort not bind myself to the notion of what I’m “supposed to be” or “be doing” but see things from a broader lens.

Was pretty demoralized last year and took a long break from dance. Went back to my roots and a style that’s rekindled that fire and probably gonna do more practice videos this year for my own amusement.

The world, the fandom and everything else has been evolving at a rapid speed — for better or worse. I’m still reevaluating my personal goals and strategies as to how I wish to engage with reality. I don’t have an answer yet; just taking it all in and seeing how they ultimately align with my values.
