One of the curses of loving both lotr books and movies is that sometimes book purists say the absolute wildest shit about the movies and I’m just sitting here like… bro did we even watch the same thing???

My main struggle is having enough energy to focus and do the mental work of building out a story and characters. I really enjoy writing elf type beings as basically “hey, first age Tolkien elves would be absolutely terrifying to someone who’s just a regular human” and just rolling with it. Like if your average Breelander or back country boy from Rohan saw Maedhros??? Terrifying!
