Here to report that this is working out perfectly. The experience of dumping Optimum was tedious and frustrating but ultimately satisfying, and Starry is doing a way better job. Huge win. I was concerned about performance in heavy snow and rain, and amazingly this WISP performed BETTER than Optimum.

Switched from low-quality over-priced ISP Optimum to the WIRELESS ISP Starry, and out of the box it is both much better and much cheaper. Never thought WISP would become a mass market product but here we are. Kinda cool. I hope it holds up well over time, we'll see!
