Love the look, feels like the right vibe for what cavalry would actually be used for - dropped off on to a feral world with rugged terrain & little resupply, ranging far to hunt down and run down targets.

Just finished Ashes of the Imperium and I loved it. The tone is amazing, lot of political plots and interesting introspections. I think you must have a good grasp of the 30k and 40k lore to understand the impacts in the big picture, so it may be a little obtuse to others but if you have go for it.

Space King hurts me because I swear there's a funny show trapped in that mess. Like they kind of nailed the absurd backwardsness of the imperium and inherent contradictions of shitty space marine fans but also they don't know how to write jokes so it's just slurs and murder

I just read on reddit that Jes Goodwin is retiring. I don't know if it's true but congratulation to him for his amazing career. After John Blanche and Jervis Johnson retiring too, it feels like a page is turning for GW.

Ok now I'm pretty sure I really dislike the Fallout TV show. Everything interesting in the games is just thrown in the woodchipper, it just keeps the esthetic, gore and dark humour and in the end it just doesn't have anything to say. All style and no substance.
