And it shows some obvious ways in which TV shows can do harm - both to individuals, many of whom were hoping this would finally 'prove' they were smart, and to society, when the myths are upheld by this kind of lazy and thoughtless design.

This is such a shameful decision by GirlGuiding. Quite literally disempowering from an organisation that promises to 'help all girls know they can do anything' and who work within nature - a space that already systemically excludes minorities. This will hit a lot of kids hard.
