I find myself both exceptionally grateful to now be living in Canada, but also sort of wish I were in Minnesota to be with those taking their sentiments to the streets. Thinking of my friends who are standing up for justice and the rescue of democracy.

None of the words I can think of even begin to characterize the US government’s actions in this situation.

As far as I know, Tom Suozzi here still does not have a primary challenger in his district (NY-3 on Long Island). The filing deadline is April 6 for the primary on June 23, and if there's a remotely progressive town council member or PTA president in that district, this is the time to make a move.

For the record, I believe that rather than exonerate his murderers of intentional homicide, this video/incident provides potential evidence of intent. It will be interesting if we ever find out, which I doubt we will, that someone recognized Pretti from the earlier encounter. #execution

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him. White. Hot. Rage.

Looks like he was in the street recording with his camera when they started pushing him toward the sidewalk. Even if he had a firearm on his person that alone is not a capital offense. I swear the MAGAt Second Amendment types are probably already defending ICE by saying, “But he had a gun!”

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.
