I really hope DYKG remakes this video someday. It's filled with lots of false information and since so much about Mother 3's history has been uncovered and better documented in the time since this was made, I think a new video on it would be a huge improvement.

Here's a behind the scenes thing I'd like to highlight from my video I uploaded yesterday: the N64 Leder featured during a mockup screenshot was collaboratively made between Sam the Salmon & Picto. There was only one image of Leder shared during the EB64 days so this recreation is rather impressive!

Mentioning this here for the sake of brevity: I did sorta forget to talk about the unused elevator dialogue during the "Flint's prototype role" segment of the video, but since it's something that I've talked about it multiple other videos of mine, I don't think it was needed to be mentioned again.

MOTHER 3: Fall of the Pig King for the Nintendo 64 was cancelled 25 years ago today. As a goodbye to the project, a huge discussion between Shigesato Itoi, Shigeru Miyamoto, & Satoru Iwata was released, as well as 24 screenshots from the game and 2 music tracks. #Mother3

there are already multiple conversions of this specific entry available on Switch alone; this is more noteworthy for the fact that Sega's straight up letting D4E drop Puyo Puyo and not just Madou Monogatari oh and it has this hidden ending with drunk Arle

Another example of Picross 3D reusing EarthBound 64 concept art can be seen with this map background that has the concept art of the tree cafe placed as a landmark. It is also worth noting that the map has other landmarks that may also be recycled (and undocumented) concept art.

Found hidden in the MOTHER 3 page on Shigesato Itoi's website are two screenshots of a mysterious NPC, seemingly important to Chapter 4 of "EarthBound 64". This NPC has never been seen prior & it seems as though they were cut from the GBA version. #MOTHER3_64 #Earthbound64
