Last night I ended up getting a new high score in Star Fox 2

Wanted to redraw the earliest design of the Light Arwing from Star Fox 2 during its development in 1993(this is the type that would eventually be piloted by Miyu and Fay in the final game)

Today was the 30th anniversary of the Doctor Who tv movie and as a result the 8th Doctor as well, it’s not the best piece of Doctor Who media but I have a soft spot for it and do like it especially because of 8 himself, I wish he got more screen time but I see what we do have of him as special

Thinking about the tv movie again as its 30th anniversary approaches, this is honestly my favorite TARDIS interior design and I think it’s a shame that it never got used again, the homey feel is what I think should be standard since it’s not just a ship it’s the Doctor’s home too most importantly

Even though I have a problem with the character designs in that new Star Fox(I just personally think they look very generic, that’s my issue with them) I will say that I like what they did with the Arwings, I like the personal decals they put on them for each team member, it’s a nice touch imo

I will say that even though I don’t actually vibe with it I think the timing of this game’s announcement is funny because recently I’ve been playing Star Fox 2 again because I can never stay away from that game for very long

Thinking about how for a couple of the times I played Animal Crossing recently there was a weird recurring thing with me getting clocks either from villagers or trees, like literally I got 2 clocks from separate trees on the same day, what’s the game trying to say to me…

Until recently I’d somehow forgotten just how good Night of Big Blue was in F Zero GX’s soundtrack, it’s a shame it only gets used during story mode because I really like it

Been thinking about this for a long time but it really bothers me when I’m treated as an asset to be gained or used instead of the actual person I am, it’s a huge red flag for me and just upsets me all around

Still easily the most difficult game I’ve ever finished, I don’t understand how kid me was able to even manage to do it multiple times, I feel like years have been taken off of my life because of how ridiculously difficult this game is especially towards the end

Out of the pilot themes in F Zero GX I don’t know why I’ve slept on Phoenix’s theme for so long, listened to it recently and it’s easily one of the best imo and I’ve kept listening to it ever since, weird how I just didn’t pay attention to it before

Can’t believe I went many years without eating pickles by themselves, got a jar of them recently after being influenced to and damn I forgot how good they actually were, they make for a good snack

Makes me very happy to see my parents finally go on a cruise especially after they’ve been mentioning potentially going on one ever since I was a kid, plus it’s not often that they go on vacations with just themselves which makes it all the more better imo

Was thinking about this earlier but something I struggle with when it comes to drawing depictions of myself is worrying about accuracy, like I’m always worried about people going “you don’t look like that at all” or that I draw myself nicer looking than how I actually look

At one point during this race my joy con drift started acting up badly and nearly made me end up crashing before this but I surprisingly ended up getting lucky and not only survived but won first place(I swore at my joy con for nothing then lol)

While I do really like the 8th Doctor’s 1996 tv movie look I’ve come to realize that I might actually prefer the look for 8 first introduced in 2013 in The Night of the Doctor, I think it really fits the “romantic adventurer” that’s at the core of 8’s character very well

Odd to me how despite the inner lining of my jacket being very dark gray it usually looks purplish in some light, like when I’m out in certain light outside or when it’s a snowy day for instance it looks slightly purple, I think it’s cool though tbh since I like purple anyway

So glad that Bunny Day stuff is nearly over, I was telling my girlfriend this earlier but of the holidays I’ve experienced in Animal Crossing this is easily the most annoying one, I hate the damn eggs getting in the way of things
