DOGE putting NGOs receiving federal funding in a Catch-22: Fight in court to keep the funding that DOGE cut illegally, but receiving federal funding means that DOGE attempts to place a team at the NGO to strangle its independence. Democracy requires a vibrant civil society--this seeks to end it.
