After Absolute Martian Manhunter I knew I’d like this book, but turns out I *love* it. Issues 4 and 5 are two of the most visually stunning/ heartbreaking comics I’ve ever read.

I can’t believe it took me so long to finally read this; my jam in every possible way. A comic about pro wrestling, but also so much more. The art is so good that I wanted to linger on every panel, but the insane yet heartfelt story propelled me forward. Incredible.

Just finished S1 of Maul: Shadow Lord. Easily my favorite Star Wars animated show ever.

Just finished the first two volumes of Absolute Superman. I didn’t quite know what to make of the first few issues but when it clicked, it clicked hard. So much heart, soul, and just enough subversion to keep it feeling fresh. The themes are quintessential Superman, but also of this moment. So good.

I forget the exact post, but one of the truest sentiments I've seen about comics is that your first issue shouldn't be Year One or Watchmen or The Dark Phoenix Saga, it should be the eighth installment in a long-forgotten crossover event called like The Mindwar Canticle
