In my opinion even if the DLSS5 stuff isn’t AI - which hasn’t really been my issue with it to begin with, it just changes the look of the game too much? - the fact that CEOs are trying to push any tech that “improves” things as AI is enough reason to push back against it. Don’t even humor fake AI.

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

I would like to make a point here. If you are willing to harass, threaten, or dox anyone because they wrote, created, or voiced in a video-game or segment you didn't like, go fuck yourselves! No one deserves that. This is not how you encourage improvement. Be better.

I have been against Generative AI. I always will be. My sister made a good point elsewhere: "Give them an inch, they'll take a mile". As a result of recent stories, this has killed my interest in not just Expedition 33, but Baldur's Gate 3 out of association with Larian.

I am an advocate for privacy. What I do with my time should only be the business of a select few. However, I'm not naive enough to think this isn't an uphill ice-skate. I can install VPNs and switch to less-intrusive OS's all I want. Tech will always have a back door. Best I can do is fight it.
