I feel like I need to let go of fine details. My art takes forever, hurts my wrist, and feels so stiff because Im not good at using the small details in a fluid way. I like having them but my execution is often disappointing and frustrating.

Took one more day off yesterday, well I had to do some errands with Daddy, but Im gonna get to work after breakfast💪

I spent so much money yesterday trying to cheer myself up. It worked but lol Ill be back on my computer on Friday as I've got 2 appointments tomorrow.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

So incredibly overwhelmed by everything that I feel frozen. Time keeps passing but im being left behind.

I feel like I met 3 dozen fellow artists at BFC, it was surreal. We all have such similar perspectives and experiences it felt so good to truly be seen. Coming here was absolutely the best decision of my life. Oh no here come the waterworks

Despite being sick for 2 weeks I was still able to finish 6 ychs, get 11 ychs almost done(just need finishing touches on my computer that I couldn't do on my tab), worked on a few sketches, and got a custom phone background almost done! Will be back to work next week!

Im so relieved!! Just got back from the doctor and I swore I had gained like 15 lbs from being sick and not walking/eating healthy for 2 weeks. I actually lost about 3lbs. Its probably muscle loss but Im so glad I have a good place to start and dont have to focus on losing again.

Im so exhausted I almost cried when my alarm went off this morning. Stupid fucking immune system. When I tested 2 weeks ago I was negative for covid so this basic cold/flu hit me so hard. Can't believe it's been 17 days since I first had symptoms. More than half a month Ive been exhausted.

Im not bringing my bodysuit to BFC cause im still not 100% after that 2 week cold but I wanted to get out the big suitcase and see if it would fit, since I havent brought it anywhere yet. It fits my bodysuit, digi feet, and plenty of room for my under armor if I squish it! Ready for BLFC next month!

In the future for custom comms im gonna take 1 at a time and start it immediately. I tend to get excited about an idea and accept the comm then later on I have trouble getting back into the same head space I may even start doing thumbnail sketches before taking payment.

I fell down yesterday, landing on my hip/thigh and elbow. I bruise really easily so if Im black and blue at BFC thats why😅 It hurts pretty bad :(
