Rolled credits on Borderlands 4 this morning. Handsome Jack aside, this is my favorite game now. I know there were technical issues for many, and I had a few minor gameplay gripes, but this was an amazing game that I barely scratched the surface of in 40+ hours. Very excited to continue to play.

#3: Blade Chimera from Team Ladybug This was actually the second of three Metroidvanias I played in a row (I regret nothing). For a cyberpunk theme, it still nailed that old school Castlevania feel. www.deargamers.net/reviews/blad...

#1: Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins The only reason I actually started playing was because it was a mission for Nintendo Switch Online. I forgot how much I enjoy this game compared to the original Game Boy game (probably the strangest Mario game I have played, story-wise).

This was a fun one. I wanted more of the Tetris-inspired inventory but it is a serviceable Metroidvania even without that.

I usually just play a demo, add the game to my wishlist if I like, uninstall and move on to the next game. This time though, it deserved a write-up. Super Roboy is one of my favorite metroidvania of late so I was definitely intrigued to check out this cool mashup out.
