It's D&D day so I'll be gone/busy most of today, but I did write 900 words before I had to leave. I might get lucky enough to write more when I get home, but it depends on how late we play. I would love to get another chapter finished today, that would be a chapter a day for 3 days in a row.

1,827 words for the night and another chapter completed. I think I have nine more to do to finish this story off. So close when you consider I wrote ch. 32 tonight, and yet it still feels so far.

Well, time to try and write for the night.

I'm going to go to the craft store and buy acrylic paint and brushes and try my hand at hand-painting the pages instead of spray painting them. By this point I think it would be easier and less of a headache.

Okay I would like some opinions on this. I've been trying to do these sprayed edges & I can't seem to get it right. No matter what I do I get some bleed on the inner pages, even when I clamp the book in wood planks. Would this bother you if you bought a book with sprayed edges & it came like this?

Alright, once again testing my sprayed edges setup. Book #4 is drying now. I hope I finally got it right this time. 😵‍💫

Anyone do their own sprayed edges? I've been experimenting with it, and I've almost got it down, but I can't seem to prevent the top of the book from getting some minor paint bleed on the inner pages. Anyone got any advice?

Got my new wood panels for the sprayed edges experiment and am once again trying to perfect this process. The tops and bottoms are experiencing some slight bleed and I can't figure out why, but I tried some different clamp placement on this copy that's currently drying, so hopefully that solves it.
